Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To allow high speed picture print with simple construction by giving up and down vibration to ink in the opening of a container and applying voltage selectively between the ink in the opening and a electrode of back surface of paper to be recorded. CONSTITUTION: Ink is entered into an outer case 2 and electrical strain vibration element 8 1 W8 5 are applied by pulse to give a vibration transmission plate 1 and in response thereto opposite surface of a slit 4 is vibrated so that ink contacted therewith is vibrated. When ink is swelled in spot form, electric voltage is applied between a drum 6 and an electrode 9 so that attraction force against the drum 6 is acted onto ink and attached to the surface of the paper 7 to be recorded. Upon continuation of applying, a line corresponding to the slit 4 is recorded onto the paper to be recorded. Extremly narrow pulse is applied to the drum 6 and a dot is recorded on a point in the paper to be recorded corresponding to the swelled position. Accordingly, by controlling the phase of pulse for applying to the drum 6 against vibration pulse of electric strain vibration elements 8 1 W8 5 , dot can be made on the paper 7 to be recorded on desired position in long axis of the slit 4.
