Tape sensitivity display unit
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To know tape sensitivity easily by driving a meter, etc., by using a data input equivalent to the gain compensation value of a recording amplifier. CONSTITUTION: By a four-bit control signal from control circuit 11 to the recording amplifier, 16-step display is performed and when tape sensitivity is considered to be excellent with a compensation value of (0.0.0.0.) 2 , transistors Q 1 to Q 4 all turn OFF to apply the highest voltage among 16 steps to meter 18, so that its maximum deflection will be caused. When tape sensitivity is low with (1.1.1.1.) 2 , transistors Q 1 to Q 4 all turn OFF to apply the lowest voltage to meter 18, so that its minimum deflection will be caused. Consequently, tape sensitivity can be found at a look. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
