Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To lessen the crosstalk and to secure the application suited for the high track density by providing the magnetic slider at the specified position on the track for the ring-shaped head or the thin film head. CONSTITUTION: Ferrite substrate 2 is supported by support spring 6 called the gimbal spring. Head core 1 wound by record/reproduction coil 4 is stuck to substrate 2 functioning as the support substrate of core 1 so as to form gap 10. To lessen the crosstalk, magnetic slider 3 doubling the slider to float the head is provided at both sides each as if it held gap 10 between. The lead-out wire of coil 4 is stored into conduit 5.
