Electric motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce cogging, by providing a stator at one side of a cup-shaped rotor having a field magnet and by providing a magnetic circuit member which is located at the other side of the rotor and has reluctance compensation part. CONSTITUTION:The rotor of a motor is a cup-shaped magnet 11 having a cylindrical wall. The rotor rotates in a space defined between a stator 16 and the magnetic circuit member 25 which is made of a silicon steel sheet or the like and fitted on the inside of a casing 1 made of a mild steel sheet. The stator 16 has a projecting-pole stator core 12. A plurality of projections 23 are provided on the magnetic circuit member 25 in positions corresponding to those of the slots of the stator core 12 to compensate the change in the reluctance of the gaps 34 of the stator core 12 which face the magnet 11.
