Printing on both sides of insulated wire with numerous parallel cores
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To perform printing on both the sides of a numerous-parallel-core insulated wire separately for its cores in a single process, by passing the cores in parallel with one another through printers equipped with printing rolls adjusted to the axes of the cores. CONSTITUTION: The parallel conductor cores 2 are delivered from a core feeder 1 and coated with an insulator 4 by an extruder 3. The cores are then conveyed to a first parallel printer 6 through an auxiliary cooler 5. The printer 6 comprises the same number of parallel printing sections 7 as the cores. The printing rolls 8 of the printing sections 7 are adjusted to the axes of the cores to perform printing on one side of each insulator-coated core. The printed core is then dried by a hot air drier 9. The dried core is thereafter turned over and transferred to a second parallel priner printer 11, which performs printing on the other side of the coated core. The cores are then conveyed by a pulling machine 12 and wound by a winder 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
