Tape recorder device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To hold a tape deck best total frequency characteristics by detecting the quantity of bias and equalization, which is suitable for a tape to be used, by use of CPU. CONSTITUTION:Mechanism controller 5, oscillator 6 which generated low frequency test signals of about 250 to 300Hz, intermidiate frequency test signal of about 4 to 8kHz and high frequency test signals of about 8 to 15kHz selectively, bias setting circuit 7, equalizer setting circuit 8, recording level setting circuit 9, and A/D converter 10 are connected to CPU1. After increasing the quantity of bias one after another, test signals of respective ranges, low, intermediate and high frequency, are stored sequentially in a tape, the max. value of intermediate frequency test signal components is retrieved from a regenerative signal group in the tape and the optimum bias value is detected. Then, the test signal components of low frequency and high frequency in the optimum bias value are retrieved from the regenerative signal group, so that setting signals for the recording level and equalizer are generated.
