Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To avoid the breakdown of the normal amplifier due to the faulty amplifier, by providing the semiconductor switching element between the base and the emitter of the transistor. CONSTITUTION:In case the output of power amplifier A1 is discontinued owing to the breakdown of driver amplifying circuit 3, the output of another normal amplifier is applied to the secondary winding of transformer 8. As a result, amplifying element 6 has no operation due to the voltage of the primary winding, and then element 7 conducts to form the closed circuit including power source 5. And thus the large current tries to flow. At this moment, transistor 18 of control part 92 conducts to form the closed circuit including power source 5, and thus the base current of element 7 is controlled. Element 6 also features the same function to reduce the power consumption at faulty amplifier A1, and as a result the reduced power consumption does not cause the overload of the normal amplifier at all. If elements 6 and 7 have the short circuit, fuses F2 and F3 are disconnected to cut off the adverse driving signal. In such constitution, plural number of amplifiers can be connected in parallel to obtain the increment of the output.
