Chlorine-containing resin compostion

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: A composition capable of suppressing the heating to a high temperature and preventing the heat deformation and deterioration of molded articles, upon exopsure to sunlight, comprising an organic colorant having improved infrared transmittance, an ultraviolet stabilizer for it, and a chlorine-containing resin. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition comprising (A) 100 parts by wt. of a chlorine-containing resin. e.g. a vinyl chloride resin, (B) 0.005W20 parts by wt. of an organic colorant, e.g.an oil-soluble dye or quinone pigment, having improved infrared transmittarce, preferably ≥50%, and (C) 0.01W5 parts by wt. of an ultraviolet stabilizer for ingredient (B).
