Pump having piston in rotary structure
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To permit an inhaled or discharged fluid to flow smoothly through a cylinder by opening or closing the intake port and discharge port formed through the cylinder wall by means of a piston which has a unique shape and performs revolution and reciprocative motion. CONSTITUTION: When a piston 1 revolves and moves to the top dead point, the intake port 5 arranged through a cylinder 2 is closed by the side surface of the piston 1, and a discharge port 6 is opened as a result of the displacement of the side surface of the piston 1 from the discharge port 6. With the elevation of the piston 1, discharge operation is performed, and gas or liquid is discharged smoothly, turning around within the cylinder 2. When the piston turns by 90° further and reaches the top dead center, the intake port 5 and the discharge port 6 are closed by the side surfaces of, the piston 1 and with the descent, the intake port 5 is opened as a result of the displacement of the side surface of the piston 1 from the intake port 5 and the discharge port 6 is closed, and with the descent of the piston 1, an intake operation is performed.
