Manufacture of thermal-shrinkable coated body for branched part
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve performance such as reliability, etc. by laminating thermal- shrinkable linked polyolefin film on the external surface of internal metal mold, putting it in the external metal mold and splitting longitudinally and pulling out the film after integrating it into a solid body under thermal treatment. CONSTITUTION:Thermal-shrinkable linked olefin film 2 is wound around and laminated on the branched part 1b of internal metal mold 1 in such manner that the shrinkable direction may coincide with the external circumferential direction of branched part 1b. Next, thermal-shrinkable film 2a having an orifice 3 equivalent to the diameter of branched part 1b opened at a location corresponding to branched part 1b, is wound around body part 1a in such manner that the shrinkable direction may coincide with the external circumferential direction of body 1a. Then the both sides of the said film are fastened by tape. After this procedure, it is put into the external metal mold and thermally treated so that it may be cooled and cured. Later it is slip along the longitudinal direction of body part 1a and is pulled out toward the end direction of branched part 1b. In this way, it is possible to manufacture coated film which is not shrinkable longitudinally and stabilized.
