Internal combustion engine ignition timing controller
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To run the engine efficiently without knocking at a proper ignition timing which is controlled according to a major parameter at cooling water temperature under a specific value and is delayed for a specified period at the temperature over the specific value. CONSTITUTION:A main ignition timing deciding function 1 adjusts the ignition timing found from a major parameter of an internal combustion engine to decide the most proper ignition timing in the normal condition and puts an ignition signal S1. A revolutional frequency detecting circuit 2 detects the frequency range required to correct an ignition timing and puts a corrected signal S2. A cooling water temperature estimation circuit 3 senses the cooling water temperature and puts a signal S3 from the estimate. An ignition timing adjusting circuit 4 puts out an ignition signal S4 for delaying the ignition timing for a certain period later than that of the signal S1, which is decided from the signals S2, S3. An ignition circuit 5 develops ignition at the timing on the basis of the signal S4.
