Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provided an apparatus for detecting the number of passengers boarding on and alighting from the elevator which separate detection of passengers boarding on an alighting from elevators with a simple device employing a load detector installed under the floor of the cage. CONSTITUTION: With a kaleidoscopic detection of the load in the cage, a load detector 1 outputs a signals of load within the cage. A variation detector 3 outputs an arrival signal 7 when the elevator arrives. A first memory element 4 memorizes a signal (W 1 )2 within the cage at the moment and outputs a lead signal 10 for the contents. During the stoppage, a stop signal 8 is outputted while a second memory element 5 memorizes the minimum load namely a load (W 2 ) at the time when the alighting of passengers is completed, and sends a load signal 11. A third memory element 6 memorizes a load (W 3 ) at the start time by a start signal 9 and outputs a load signal 12. Subtractors 13 and 14 input the said load signals and outputs a signal 15 for the number of passengers alighted and a signal 16 for that of passengers loaded. COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
