Floating hose and its manufacturing method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To minimize the leakage of a transferred oil and the like and to prevent ocean contamination by providing a means to quickly detect a crack or damege on the hose main body. CONSTITUTION: When the transferred oil and the like leaks out of the outer surface of a hose body 2 of a hose 1 due to a crack and the like formed thereto, a part of said leakage penetrates into a flexible tube 6 through an opening or a clearance hole 6a to dissolve an insulation 5 of lead wires 4 thereby short circuiting the lead wires 4 which are twisted together causing the loss of equilibrium of the bridge circuit to actuate an alarm such as a lamp or bell and the like.
