Copying method for double-faced copier
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the position discrepancy of registration of the binding margin of a copy paper whose both faces are copied by changing the position of copied image on a recording medium after the same continuous copy, and carrying out the continuous copy on the reverse face thereof. CONSTITUTION:Toner visible image formed on the photosensitive drum 3 is continuously transferred on copy paper C, C..., and copied paper C with binding margin L1 formed thereon is accumulated on the intermediate tray. Until this copy ends and its reverse face copy is done, in order to make top and bottom of images of front and back faces register one another, the tray is rotated by 180 degrees. Concurrently the original document for the back face is shifted, and the visible image for back face copy is formed at the position where the drum 3 is shifted to the predetermined amount in the axial direction of the drum 3. Therefore the binding margin L1 ... formed at the reverse side of copy paper when the back face is copied has the predetermined value free from discrepancy relative to the binding margin L1 when its front face is copied.
