Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption, by using an internal illumination light source and external light source through switching. CONSTITUTION: This device is composed of liquid-panel 1, light diffusion plate 2, internal illumination light source 3, transparent plate 4 which has light source 3 fixed to its internal surface and the mirror to external surface 5, fulcrums 6 and 7 for the movement or rotation of plate 4, reverse tab 8, and circuit part 9 of the tuner, speaker, etc. Setting the mirror surface appropriately makes it possible to observe the picture on panel 1 utilizing not light source 3 but an external light source or natural light COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
