Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To stabilize output as well as simplify constitution by using enhancement type electric field effect transistor for control transistor. CONSTITUTION: As the output voltage Vout rises, the base voltageVA of the amplifying transistor Q1 is increased, and because the emitter potential of the transistor Q1 is kept constant by means of the Zener diode DZ, the voltage VBE between the base emitters of the transistor Q1 rises to increase current flowing in the transistor Q1. The voltage drop of the resistance RO becomes greater and the gate voltage of the enhancement type electric field effect transistor Mn is therefore lowered, so that the drain current of the electric field effect transistor Mn is reduced, the voltage drop between drain and source becomes greater, and the output voltage Vout is reduced, thus resulting in the stabilization of the output voltage. And, when the output voltage is lowered, the gate voltage of the electric field effect transistor Mn becomes greater to raise the output voltage Vout COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
