Bag filter type dust collector and method of collecting dust therefor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent a bag filter type dust collectro from occurring dangerous electrostatic ignition by containing bag filters in independently divided treating chambers in number including exchanging chambers. CONSTITUTION: The bag house of this dust collector consists of independently divided treating chambers 1a to 1d not communicatad by internal air stream. Each of the chamber 1a ti 1d cntains antistatic choth bag filyer 2 equal to one-third of dust collecting capacity in filtering capacity. One of the chambers is used for sequential dust removal and potential attenuating chamber. The chambers 1a to 1d are connected through openalbe valves 4a to 4d to dust-contained air stream supply inlet duct 5 and dust-removed air stream exhaust outlet duct 7, and through openable valves 8a to 8d to dust removing reverse air stream duct 9. Dust-contained air stream fed from the duct 5 is supplied into three chambers 1a to 1c to be removed from the dusts.
