Abstract PURPOSE: In the application of nonaqueous coatings, a water-soluble solvent of low vapor pressure is used together-with an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent and the vapor evolving during application and baking process is removed through gasliquid contact process, thus permitting nonpolluting coating operation.
