Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To automatically re-read in the file managing information, by producing the signal representing the exchange of external memory unit and re-reading in the file managing information through the transfer of head to specific position according to this signal. CONSTITUTION: The file managing information is written in the 0-th track T o in the floppy disc sheet FD, and the files from the first track T 1 to T n are in existence. In reading out and writing in the files T 1 to T n on FD, whether FD sheet is replaced or not is read in with the signal of FF2. When this signal represents high level exchange, CPU detects this and rewrites the content of memory M. Thus, the external direction step pulse is delivered on the control line SO from CPU, and the head RW is shifted to the position of the O-th track T o until the signal of T o appears on the track 0 signal readout line RTO.
