Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To reverse tape running even with a car-mounting cassette tape recorder or the like which accomanies vibrations by performing releasing of a stopping lever with a conversion amplifying means. CONSTITUTION: When the tape terminal end is reached upon ending of the play and tape tension increases higher than the energizing force of a spring 18, a second gear 29 is turned slightly clockwise and is turned by half turn. This disengages said gear from the first gear 31, causing turning of the second gear 29 to be blocked by the engagement of a stopping lever 28 and other stop pin 34'. The turning operation of said second gear 29 causes the drive mechanism changeover lever 3 engaged to the protrusing shaft 32C provided in the eccentric position of the second gear 29 to be turned clockwise about the rotating shaft 38, thereby changing over the pressure contacting of a pinch roller. When the tape terminal end is reached, sensors 14, 14' detect the increase in tape tension and drive the second gear 29 which in turn changes over the drive mechanism changeover lever 3, thereby reversing the tape running.
