Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly measure a compressive load acting upon a test piece even under the action of torsional force or an eccentric load caused by compression of a coil spring in a material testing machine for making a compression test or the like of the compression spring. SOLUTION: A lower pressure board 8 is fixed to a fixing table 1 through a fitting part 15. The fitting part 15 has three load cells 20 disposed at equal angle intervals around a load axis G, and a guide part 21 locked to a fitting seat 27 holding the lower pressure board 8. Even in the case of an eccentric load acting upon the lower pressure board 8 due to compression of a coil spring, the influence of the eccentric load can be eliminated by measuring by three load cells 20, and even under the action of torsional force, the rotation of the lower pressure board 8 is impeded since the fitting seat 27 is locked to the guide part 21.
