Manufacturing method of passenger airbag

Abstract

Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacture of an air bag for the front passenger seat which can be easily manufactured and permits reduction of a manhour and cost even if a member serving as a straightening cloth is provided inside. SOLUTION: With corresponding reinforcing cloth 21 and 22 being sewn to predtermined parts of a main panel 18 and two side panels 19 and 20, then main panel 18 and the two side panels 19 and 20 are sewn together to form a bag. Then, after reversing is carried out with the aid of an opening part 17, the mutual tip parts of extra parts 21b and 22b of the reinforcing cloths 21 and 22 with extra parts are put out to be sewn together with both ends being open, and the extra parts 21b and 22b are introduced into an air bag 22 to complete the air bag. A straightening part 25 serving as a straightening cloth is formed out of the extra parts 21b and 22b.
