Abstract Translated from Japanese (57)【要約】 【目的】新規ヒトsmall ＴＩＭＰ２遺伝子ＤＮＡ、ヒト ＴＩＭＰ２ＤＮＡの一部をプライマ−またはプロ−ブと して用いたヒトsmall ＴＩＭＰ２遺伝子解析方法および 試薬を提供することにある。 【構成】ヒト悪性グリオーマの外科摘出標本から新規ヒ トsmall ＴＩＭＰ２遺伝子をクローニングし構造決定し た。本発明遺伝子の発現量の低下と、ヒトグリオーマに おける腫瘍の悪性化とが、明確に相関していることを確 認した。 (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel human small TIMP2 gene DNA, a human small TIMP2 gene analysis method and a reagent using a part of the human TIMP2 DNA as a primer or a probe. [Structure] A novel human small TIMP2 gene was cloned from the surgically excised specimen of human malignant glioma, and its structure was determined. It was confirmed that the decrease in the expression level of the gene of the present invention and the malignant transformation of the tumor in human glioma were clearly correlated.
