White rubber to be used in food production machine or implement

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a safe white rubber with hygienic feeling and high durability. CONSTITUTION: This white rubber meeting quality requirements of the Food Sanitary Law is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a rubber with <=150 pts.wt. of a reinforcing filler prepared by treating the surface of aluminum silicate or magnesium silicate with an aminosilane coupling agent. Another version of the white rubber also conformed to the above Law is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a rubber with 20-80 pts.wt. of a reinforcing filler prepared by treating the surface of aluminum silicate or magnesium silicate with an aminosilane coupling agent. Carcinogenic volatile N-nitrosamine is never detected in these two kinds of white rubber.
