Abstract

(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To suppress the formation of a mixture of slag and metal (referred to as an overlay) that deposits and deposits on reaction vessels such as topped cars generated during hot metal desulfurization without impairing the desulfurization efficiency. [Composition] Compounding ratio (calcium aluminate / quick lime weight ratio) of 0.1 to 0.8 in the desulfurizing agent quick lime using 12CaO.7Al 2 O 3 as the main component of calcium aluminate as a melting aid. Add in. As for the addition method, the effect is the same in the case of premixing and spraying from another system. [Effect] As a result of using calcium / aluminate in a mixing ratio of 0.1 to 0.8 with quick lime, the effect of suppressing the formation of the overlay and dissolving it can be obtained. Further, the desulfurization efficiency can be improved as the blending ratio of calcium aluminate increases.
