Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a control rod from falling owing to a failure in the gripping replacement of a latch mechanism by providing a circuit which fixes a driving coil current to a holding current and interrupting operation when such abnormality that the current instruction signal of a control rod driving coil does not becomes a maximum current instruction is caused. CONSTITUTION:The holding current instruction signal inputted from a current instruction signal generating circuit 1 and the reference signal inputted from a reference signal source 13, e.g. a voltage of 3 - 7V are compared by a wind comparator 14 and the abnormality of the holding current instruction signal is detected from a state wherein the former enters the range of the latter to supply the output to a gate circuit 15. The gate circuit 15 opens the gate with the cycling signal from the circuit 1 only when the holding current instruction signal enters the range during control rod driving and closes the gate in a holding state. When the signal passed through the gate circuit 15 is inputted, an interlocking control circuit 12A outputs an interlocking signal to a current control circuit 2 to lock the coil current to the holding current.
