Frp wheel with hub

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a FRP wheel where the structures of the wheel and a hub are simple, installation workability is high and fixing is complete by integrating a pair of right and left hub casings of the FRP wheel through joint. CONSTITUTION:Male threads 9 are formed at the end parts of respective alumi num alloy hubs 1, 2 which are divided into two in the center, respectively. Besides, at the inside of a joint 3 for integrating the divided hubs 1, 2, a female thread 9' which meets the male thread 9 is formed. In the central part of a wheel, an insert 4 is inserted in advance. The respective hubs 1, 2 divided into two are inserted into a hole in the central part of a wheel 5 from both sides, and are fixed at the central part of the hole by the joint 3. At this time, an adhesive agent is applied to a part 8 where the respective hubs 1, 2 come into contact with the wheel. Then, a hole which is through respective hubs 1, 2 and the wheel including the insert 4 part is formed to fix them with a fixing pin 7. Besides, foaming polyurethane or the like is applied to a hollow part 6.
