Bracket forming device for blow molded product

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To set up arbitrarily an angle of a bracket to be formed on a blow molded product, by a method wherein a pinching and holding means is formed freely turnably centering around its center shaft and the pinching and holding means is turned by arranging a cylinder mechanism concentrically with the pinching and holding means. CONSTITUTION:When a parison 6 is held within a cavity 2 of a mold 1, a pinching and holding means 21 is moved forward along with a rod 24 of a moving cylinder mechanism 23 by driving of the moving cylinder mechanism, projected into the cavity 2 and approached to the parison 6. Then the front of the pinching and holding means 21 is opened, the front tips of its both chuck bodies are encroached upon the parison 6 under a state where both the chuck bodies 27 abut against a circumferential surface of a through hole 15 of a case cap 12. Continuously, after the front of the pinching and holding means 21 is closed and part of the parison 6 is put into the pinching and holding means 21, the moving cylinder mechanism 23 is operated, the pinching and holding means 21 is moved backward along with its rod 24, held into a case 11 and the pinching and holding means 21 becomes a state where the front of the same coincides with a cavity surface. Air is blown into the parison 6 under this state, blow molding is performed and molded product 7 is produced. Thus a bracket 8a is formed on the molded product 7 at a part where it is caught by the pinching and holding means 21.
