Burner, and device and method for removing metal
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To quickly and surely melt and remove stuck metal by setting both gas discharging holes directing diagonally downward as annular shape so that discharged combustion assist gas and fuel gas cross in the vicinity of the stuck metal surface. CONSTITUTION:A slit nozzle in a burner for melting and removing the metal stuck to refractory wall surface is constituted with a combustion assist gas- discharging hole 13 and a fuel gas-discharging hole 14 arranged at upper part thereof. Further, the combustion assist gas-discharging hole 13 and the fuel gas-discharging hole 14 are set directing directing diagonally downward as annular shape so that the discharged combustion assist gas and fuel gas cross in the vicinity of the metal surface. This burner is arranged at the tip part of a long lance, and by ascending/descending the long lance on the axis of a molten metal treating vessel, the stuck metal is melted and removed. By this method, the operational time and system can be made more flexible.
