Method for applying water-soluble release agent to cold die
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To rapidly evaporate the moisture in a water-soluble release agent without imparting trouble to a production line by spraying the water-soluble release agent by pressurized hot air. CONSTITUTION:For example, air pressurized to 4-10kg/cm<2> is sent to a spray nozzle 2 through a heater 1. At this time, said air is heated, for example, to 400-600 deg.C by the heater 1 to be sent to the nozzle 2 as hot air. A water-soluble release agent is pressurized, for example, to 2kg/cm<2> to be sent to the nozzle 2 through a supply pipe 3. By this method, the water-soluble release agent is injected from the nozzle 2 by the hot air to be sprayed to a die 4. At this time, the moisture in the water-soluble release agent is evaporated by the heat of the hot air before said release agent is sprayed to the die 4. Therefore, only an effective component, that is, only wax is sprayed to the die 4 by the pressure of the hot air and can be adhered to the die 4.
