Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To integrate and compact the title device by adopting linear motor driving and a coil spring resonance system and also adopting a scavenging system dependent on a piston. CONSTITUTION:A closed type reciprocating free-piston compressor is equipped wherein a spring 21 supporting the lower part of a piston 3 is provided and both linear bearing support and linear motor driving are adopted. An adsorption tank 5 described hereunder is arranged between the cylinder head 4 of this compressor and the piston 3. The adsorption tank 5 houses an adsorbent 50 wherein the difference is caused in gas adsorption capacity by pressure. A linear motor chamber 27 housing a linear motor is formed to the inside of the cylinder 4 in the lower part of the piston 3. A suction valve 6 is provided in the linear motor chamber 27. A sucking and scavenging valve 8 is provided to a piston head 3a. A discharge valve 7 is provided to the upper part of the adsorption tank 5. A scavenging port 10 is provided to the side surface of the cylinder 4. As a result, the title device can be integrated and compacted.
