Cornering behavior control device for vehicle
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To cause running of a vehicle in a constantly proper tire grip area by a method wherein when the detecting car speed of a vehicle exceeds the limit car speed of a tire grip, cornering inner and outer wheels are respectively braked so that a car speed is reduced to the limit car speed. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle is turned through steering of a wheel A. In this case, a steering amount of the wheel A is detected by a means B. A car speed is detected by a means C. The limit car speed of a tire grip at each steering amount is detected by a means D. When a detecting car speed exceeds a limit car speed, each of cornering inner and outer wheels A is braked by a means E so that a car speed is reduced to the limit car speed. Namely, a surplus of a car speed at which unexpected cornering behavior of a vehicle is induced is suppressed through braking of each of the cornering inner and outer wheels A. This constitution causes running of a vehicle in a constantly proper tire grip area, resulting in prevention of spin and drift out of a vehicle.
