Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To avoid the risk of operating a joy stick by mistake and that of damaging a teaching device itself with its dropping on a floor face, etc., by its hanging by composing it so as to hold it at the void position in a lie-down state where the joy stick is stored at its unusing time. CONSTITUTION:A joy stick 38 is rotated and when it is switched between a lie-down state and rise state, the valid and void of a device is univocally deter mined in accordance therewith. At the time of the lie-down state becoming this void the joy stick 38 becomes in a closed state stored in the recessed part 36a at the side part of a box body 36 in a teaching device 30. So the joy stick 38 becomes in the state of being pulled out of the surface area of the box body 36 of the teaching device 30 at its unusing time, a movable projecting body is eliminated from the circumference of a robot control device and there is no obstacle. The danger of dropping the teaching device 30 by hanging it on a cloth, etc., by mistake by a worker can be eliminated even in the case of the teaching device 30 being held by suspending it on a robot control device 20.
