Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in a work load monitoring performance by detecting a work load by plural detection means, inputting cutting conditions and finding the reliability of the detection means based on the reliability function showing the relation of a preset cutting conditions and each detection means. CONSTITUTION:A tool diameter D, main shaft rotation number S and feeling speed F of cutting conditions are fed out to a cutting conditions input part 111 from an NC device 108, a tool peripheral speed fw and the feeding amount frot per rotation of a main shaft are calculated and fed out to a reliability function processing part 112. The tool peripheral speed fw and feeding amount frot are substituted into the reliability function preset at the processing part 112, the respective AE sensor reliability CA1 and CA2 of the above fw and frot and the reliabilities Cs1 and Cs2 of a main shaft load current sensor are led out and fed out to a sensor reliability ratio calculation part 113, and the reliability ratio CAE and CSPIN of each sensor are calculated. A composite threshold value L and composite signal S are compared at a comparison part 106 and a work control signal SK is output from a work control signal forming part 107.
