Method for combined-extruding metallic material

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain metallic combined material excellent in quality without requiring troublesome and difficult labor by charging combining 2nd metallic material from an introducing hole for dissimilar metal into a metal passage at the same time that 1st metallic material is extruded. CONSTITUTION:When the 1st metallic material 11 for the main extrusion is extruded form a container 2 through a die 1 in the prescribed sectional shape, small billets of conjugating 2nd metallic material 12 which is changed previously in a charging hole 5 for dissimilar metal are charged by the advance of a stem 9 from the inward end of the charging hole 5 at a required charging speed into a metal passage 6. This charged 2nd metallic material 12 joins the 1st metallic material sent out of the side of the container 2 at a welding room and they are extruded at the same time in an integrally pressure welded state at one prescribed place of the outer surface of the main body of material to be formed by the 1st metallic material 11 extruded from between the bearing parts 3a, 4a of the die 1 and taken out as dissimilar metal combined material.
