Information recording system and recording device and recording carrier used for said information recording system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily acquire the data necessary for recording by producing an auxiliary signal including address code by predetermined track modulation, previously recording the signal in previously formed tracks and reading out the address code with a reading-out means. CONSTITUTION: A recording layer 6 which is locally melted and changed in reflection coefft. when the layer is irradiated with a laser beam of an adequate intensity is formed on a transparent substrate 5 constituting a recording carrier 1 and the surface thereof is kept protected by a protective layer 7. A magneto- optical material and a material which is changed in structure by dyes and heat are used for the layer 6. The tracks 4 are scanned by irradiating the tracks with the radiation beam of the intensity changing according to recorded information. The auxiliary signals are formed in the form of the track modulation previously formed in the tracks 4 and in actually, the signals are kept oscillated at a size of nearly 30×10<-9> m of the track width of nearly 10<-8> m in such a manner that the modulation of the scanning beam may be detected with high reliability. The reading out of the necessary data is simplified in such a manner.
