Heater buried road
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To melt snow on various kinds of roads and to prevent freezing by coating each temperature self-control type heater with a cover made of metal and burying the heater in concrete or asphalt. CONSTITUTION:Two electrodes Hb are buried in a belt like conductive component Ha obtained by mixing conductive material in resin and a self-temperature control function is provided in a heater H. In a metal cover 6, flanges 6b extending to right and left sides relative to a pressed part 6a for housing the heater H are provided and laid so as to be closed to the flange parts 6b of another adjacent cover 6. Temperature distribution of the heater H is thus made even. Then, the cover 6 is applied on the heater H. Then, the heaters H are buried in an asphalt mortar layer 3 above an asphalt stabilizing layer 2 at suitable pitches.
