Thermoplastic resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a composition suitable for large-sized precision machine parts, etc., suppressing reduction in molecular weight, maintaining excellent characteristic properties of resin, having excellent dimensional stability by blending an aromatic polycarbonate resin with a specific amount of talc and organic acid. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. aromatic polycarbonate resin having 16,000-50,000 viscosity-average molecular weight is blended with (B) >=1 pt.wt., preferably >=5 pts.wt. talc and (C) 0.1-10wt.%, preferably 1-10wt.% based on the component B of an organic acid (e.g. acetic acid or propionic acid).
