Curable composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having excellent curability and giving a cured material having excellent optical uniformity and high refractive index by using a specific sulfide, other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with said sulfide and a polythiol as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) 4,4'-bis(methacryloylthio)diphenyl sulfide of formula, (B) other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the component A and (C) a polythiol of formula R-(SH)n (R is polyvalent organic group; n is integer of >=2). The content of the component C is 10-90% based on A+B+C and the equivalent ratio of the mercapto group of the component C to the methacryloyl group of the component A is 0. 001-1.01.
