Shaping system for three- dimensional object
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To produce a three-dimensional matter by projecting radiation beam on the surface thin layer of a liquid photohardenable compsn. to subject the predetermined part of the compsn. to vector scanning in constant exposure quantity to optically harden the same and successively allowing this optically hardened thin layer to fall in a liquid to laminate the thin layer. CONSTITUTION: The radiation beam 12 having required intensity generated by a radiation means 10 is passed through a modulator 14 and the modulated radiation beam 12' passes through a deflecting means 16. The radiation beam 12" from the deflecting means 16 irradiates the thin layer 48 nearest to the surface of a photohardenable compsn. 40 to generate optical curing in a predetermined part. The positioning of a movable table 41 is performed by a setting means 42 and the setting means 42 is controlled according to the data stored by a computer control means 30. The figure data corresponding to the first layer having the shape of a rigid matter is sent to a computer control means 34 from the control means 30 to keep exposure quantity constant when the beam moves the predetermined part of the thin layer 48 in a vector mode. If the first layer of the rigid matter is completed, the movable table 41 is allowed to fall by a short distance and the same procedure is repeated.
