New water paint compound containing specially modified organic pigments

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an aq. paint compsn. improved in theological characteristics, by making the composition contain a specified pyrrolopyrrole preparation or quninacridone preparation treated with a specified sulfonic acid deriv. as org. pigment. CONSTITUTION: As the org. pigment, a 1,4-diketo-3,6-diphenylpyrrolo[3,4-C)] pyrrole preparation (A) or a quinacridone preparation (B) is contained and the component A contains pyrrolopyrrole (a) represented by formula I and pyrrolopyrrole (b) represented by a modified pyrrolopyrrole of formula I containing a group represented by formula II or the component B quinacridone (c) represented by formula III or its solid soln. and quinacridone (d) represented by the formula III containing the group represented by the formula II to obtain the title aq. paint compsn. In the formulae, R 1 and R 3 are H, Cl, Br, CH 3 , OCH 3 , CN or C 6 H 5 ; R 2 and R 4 are H, Cl, Br or CH 3 , R 5 and R 6 are H, Cl, Br, CH 3 or OCH 3 ; L is H or a group of [M nθ /n or N θ (R 7 ) (R 8 ) (R 9 ) (M is monovalent - trivalent metal cations; n is 1, 2 or 3; and R 7 , R 8 and R 9 are H or alkyl).
