Deciding device for photographic printing exposure quantity
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To determine an appropriate exposure quantity by storing automatically many image density at every film type, deciding a film type to be printed and deriving an exact reference value from many image density. CONSTITUTION:A photometric means 28 executes photometry by dividing an image of a film to be printed into many pieces, and obtains photometric values of three colors at every picture element. A reader 42 reads a bar-code, and classifies it at every film type by a film kind classifying means 34. A storage device 32 stores image density of the photometric value of the means 28 at each separate film type. An arithmetic means 40 derives a reference value of its film type from a memory of many image density of a memory 32, determines a specific color area, based on the reference value and calculates image density of three colors. An exposure quantity determining means 44 determines an exposure quantity of a film to be printed, based on image density values of these three colors and a reference printing exposure condition stored in advance.
