Air switching valve

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a suitable suction and exhaust timing and to lengthen the life of the valve by communicating between a pump port and a connecting port and between an exhaust port and a connecting port by rotation of a rotor in a pneumatic massage device or the like. CONSTITUTION:An air switching valve 1 comprises a base having a pair of pump ports 21a, 21b, exhaust ports 23a, 23b, four connecting ports 22a - 22d and a rotor 3 having a pair of communicating portions 31, which is rotated with respect to the base 2. With the rotation of the rotor 3, the paired communicating portion 31 communicate one pair of ports among the pump ports 21a, the exhaust port 23a, two connecting ports 22a, 22d, the other exhaust port 23b, the pump port 21b, and two connecting ports 22c, 22b to expand and contract envelopes 5a - 5d in order. Thus, the suction and exhaust for four connecting ports for two cycles can be accomplished by one rotation of the rotor so as to lessen abrasion and lengthen the life.
