Room antenna for communication for vehicles

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient communication distance by forming an antenna in shape attachable on a room front back mirror. CONSTITUTION:The antenna is mounted on the mounting fixture of the back mirror. High frequency energy to be sent in transmission is introduced to a feeding point 3 by a coaxial cable 2, and a standing wave is put on radiant elements 4 and 5 at the feeding point 3, then, it is radiated as a wave. A first joint 6 is bent so as not to disturb a visual field during driving a vehicle, and furthermore, a second joint 7 is bent. Communication with HF can be performed in such state without generating any problem. When the communication is started, it is performed by extending the element perpendicularly at the second joint 7.
