Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To print out a data unable to be recorded after power application among data received before power interruption by transferring the received data of a prescribed range including the received data not printed out in a volatile memory to a nonvolatile memory. 4 CONSTITUTION:A received data is inputted from a line input terminal 10, demodulated by a transmission/reception section 2, decoded by a decoding section 5, inputted to a recording section 6 and printed out on recording paper 7. When the recording paper 7 is short on the way of reception in this state, a sensor 8 detects it. When the page received at present is received to its end, a control section 7 terminates the communication. Thus, all the picture data of the page received at a point of time when the recording paper is in shortage is written in the volatile memory 3. On the end of communication, a control section reads the demodulated data by the page written finally from the volatile memory 3 and writes it into the nonvolatile memory 4. When new recording paper is set and the power is applied, the data in the nonvolatile memory 4 is read and decoded and printed out by a recording section 6.
