Method for magnetic resonance imaging
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve an S/N without bringing about the deterioration of picture quality such as the lowering of resolution by sufficiently lengthening time for the observation of the echo signal after an exciting high frequency pulse and an inclined magnetic field pulse are impressed, executing a specific data collecting sequence twice, and obtaining one-line data. CONSTITUTION:In the title method for imaging the magnetic resonance, to which a two-dimensional Fourier transforming method is applied, the time for observing the echo signal is sufficiently lengthened after the exciting high frequency pulse and the inclined magnetic field pulse are impressed, and the data collecting sequence, which is set by shortening its front and lengthening its rear for the peak center of the echo signal, is executed at least twice for the same encoding direction and a different reading direction. The one-line data on a Fourier space surface are obtained by mutually complementing the reading directional insufficient amounts of two echo data obtained by the above-mentioned data collecting sequence. For the obtained one-line data on the Fourier space surface, the time for observing the echo signal is set sufficiently long, and a picture to be generated becomes the one having the high S/N which never brings about the deterioration of the picture quality such as the lowering of the resolution.
