Attack withstanding vessel

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To realize mass production and to eliminate erroneous attack from the outside by detecting attack from the outside by arranging logical elements at the outer peripheral plane of a vessel in the inside of which secret information is housed, and deciding the loss of the normal operation of the logical element. CONSTITUTION:The logical elements (memory device) are arranged at the outer peripheral plane of an attach with standing vessel 1 in the inside of which the secret information is housed. The attach counter vessel 1 is constituted of two sheets of substrates 2 and 3, and the substrates 2 and 3 are formed by joining the joining part 2a of the substrate 2 with the joining part 3a of the substrate 3, and the memory devices 4 are arranged on the joining parts 2a and 3a, and joint is performed directly on the memory device 4, or via a layer connected solidly to the memory device 4. When the memory device 4 whose function as the memory device is lost is detected, the secret information is deleted by deciding the device as the one being suffered from the attack. In such a way, the mass production can be realized, and the erroneous detection of the attack can be evaded.
