Production of silicone composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a composition which is refreshing, spreadable, stable and useful as a thickener by applying a shearing force to a polymer formed by addition-polymerizing an organohydrogenpolysiloxane with an organopolysiloxane in the presence of a low-viscosity silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is obtained by applying a shearing force to a polymer formed by addition-polymerizing an organohydrogenpolysiloxane (A) containing at least 1.5, on the average, Si-bonded hydrogen atoms in the molecule with an organopolysiloxane (B) having at least 1.5, on the average, Si-bonded aliphatic unsaturated groups in the molecule in the presence of 10-1000 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. total of components (A) and (B), low-viscosity silicone oil (C).
