Back-up generating system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate the discontinuation of the work referring to a relevant file by producing the latest back-up file with use of an old back-up file and an updated file. CONSTITUTION:A back-up generation control means 2 receives an instruction from a user instruction input means for extraction of the updated information and accepts a system ID to identify the updated information on an updated log file 8. Then a back-up information extracting mans 6 is carried out for extraction of the control information on the file saved into an old back-up file 9. Thus the file identifying information is obtained. An updating information extracting means 5 is carried out with use of the system ID and the identifying information. Then the updated information is extracted out of the file 8 for production of an updated information file 3. Then a back-up information editing means 4 is carried out and a back-up information in the file 9 is editted with use of the updated information in the file 3. Thus, the update back-up information is outputted in the new back-up file 10.
