Adjusting method for television receiver

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten the adjustment time and to save a memory area by writing a forecasted adjusting value as initial adjusting data in an EEPROM from an adjusting device through the microcomputer of a television receiver. CONSTITUTION:When receiving a signal for switching to the initial adjusting data input mode from an adjusting device 4, a microcomputer 2 is switched to the initial adjusting data input mode and receives initial adjusting data transmitted from the adjusting device 4 and stores the data in a determined area of the RAM on the microcomputer 2. It is judged whether a determined number of data are received or not; and when reception of the determined number of data is recognized, data transmitted to an EEPROM 3 is written and stored to terminate the initial adjusting data input mode, and thereafter, the adjusting operation is performed by the adjusting device 4.
